Multicultural Health Week is a NSW state-wide event, held every September. It is an annual event that started in 2009 to highlight the importance of language and culture in health services as well as providing an opportunity to raise health issues in multicultural communities.

The Week's celebration is funded by the NSW Ministry of Health and is coordinated by the NSW Multicultural Health Communication Service (MHCS), a state-wide service funded by NSW Ministry of Health to provide health information to culturally and linguistically diverse communities (CALD).
