A video introducing the services provided by STARTTS to the Arabic speaking refugee community as presented from the perspective of clients. The video highlights common difficulties and challenges of resettling in a new country while also dealing with the trauma and loss associated with their refugee experience. The stories and experiences shared by the refugees in the video will help to normalise the common feelings and difficulties faced by recently arrived refugees who may not know where they can get help and often feel overwhelmed by their situation. The video aims to give potential clients a sense of hope that they too can be helped by the services that STARTTS offers, while showing that it is a warm, friendly place where confidentiality is respected. The video also highlights why a person may need help from STARTTS, the benefits of seeking help and the different ways in which STARTTS can help – such as individual and group interventions, addressing specific issues, support groups etc.
