The flipchart has been developed by the Cancer Institute NSW as a tool to assist in providing information on cervical cancer and cervical screening to Vietnamese-women, particularly those eligible to participate in the National Cervical Screening Program (NCSP).
The flipchart is available in Vietnamese and has also been translated into 14 community languages and simple English, along with an accompanying facilitator’s guide to support community educators.

The flipchart covers the following:
- Cancer and cervix – overview of cancer and the female reproductive system, including the cervix.
- Cervical screening – information on cervical screening including the procedure and self-collection as an option, who should get it done, how often and where to get it done.
It is designed to be used by health or community workers/educators talking with community members about cervical screening. It can be used with groups or with an individual.
