    Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS)

23 translations of the EPDS have been recently checked, revised or back-translated and then reformatted (by Western Sydney translation service) onto the NSW Health eMR form to enable clinicians better access to validated versions (via a URL link). These translations will be stored on MHCS website and clinicians will be directed to this ‘one-stop shop’ source of translations. This will significantly improve consistent use of validated translations. Currently, there is only one outdated Western Australian published collection of EPDS translations. There are also translated versions (Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Filipino, Khmer (Cambodian), Lao, Macedonian, Serbian, Spanish, Tagalog, Thai, Turkish, Vietnamese) on the MHCS website however their origin and validity are unknown, and the eMR template is not correct.
