Staying healthy during a mouse plague
This factsheet provides information on the health risks associated with mice, rats and other rodents. Infections from mice and other rodents can occur from direct contact with infected animals or through contact with soil, food or water contaminated by infected animals. Infectious disease from rodents is rare but people should take precautions to reduce their risk.
