Celebrate Multicultural Health Week held annually every September in this NSW state-wide event. The annual event started in 2009 to highlight the importance of language and culture in health services as well as providing an opportunity to raise health issues in multicultural communities. Multicultural Health Week has since grown to share awareness of a different health topic each year.

Multicultural Health Week is funded by the NSW Ministry of Health and coordinated by the NSW Multicultural Health Communication Service (MHCS), a state-wide service funded by NSW Ministry of Health to provide health information to culturally and linguistically diverse communities (CALD).
