Value Addded Translation Services

One of MHCS’s key roles is to provide and manage high quality health-related translations through our “value added” translation service and our state-wide multilingual health information database

  • We can provide advice on the most appropriate community languages for your target audiences.
  • We ensure that translations are both culturally appropriate and linguistically accurate.
  • We can conduct focus groups to design health messages as well as community testing to test translated health information with the target audiences.
  • We provide a full suite of services, from print  resources (including translation, checking, formatting, typesetting and design work/artwork), to the production of audio-visual in language resources.
  • Our experience in audio-video production includes the development of voice over scripts, subtitling and production, as well as selection of culturally appropriate talent.
  • Our translations are undertaken and checked by professionals translators, accredited or recognised through National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters Ltd (NAATI).
  • We can also assist in developing a distribution plan to ensure your resources reach your target audience.
