Helping your child learn two languages
The "Helping your child learn two languages” video aims to encourage families to speak to their children in their home language. Many families speak to their children in English even though it is not their home language or the language that they speak best in. In some cases, parents/carers speaking a language that they are not proficient in may result in children having weak vocabulary skills, poor grammar use or sentence structures, which can have an impact on their learning when starting school.
