      This Personal Health Record (known as the ‘Blue Book’) is an important bookfor you and your child. It records your child’s health, illnesses, injuries, andgrowth and development; and contains valuable health information that youand your child will need throughout their life.

      Hearing loss and your baby: the next step

      Information about the NSW Statewide Infant Screening Hearing (SWISH) Program. This aims to identify all babies born in NSW with significant permanent bilateral hearing loss by 3 months of age, and to enable them to access appropriate intervention by 6 months of age.

      Drilling in Construction - Silica

      Construction materials such as sandstone, concrete and bricks can contain up to 90% silica dust. When drilling on these materials, you can generate and breathe in fine crystalline silica dust, which can cause serious illnesses such as silicosis and lung cancer.
