How to Create a Multilingual Health Resource

With a little planning, you can ensure your health message reaches your target communities with clarity, accuracy and effectiveness.

There are three stages to creating a health resource for culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities:

  1. Planning & Budgeting – budgeting realistically for time, costs and professional skills
  2. Production – creating quality resources for CALD communities
  3. Resource Maintenance – ensuring resources remain accurate and relevant

More helpful information, especially for developing resources for refugees, can be found in NSW Health’s Developing health resources for people from refugee backgrounds.
